Crowns
Crowns are prescribed when a tooth or teeth are too badly decayed, broken or cracked and cannot be easily restored with a filling. They are usually needed for teeth that have undergone a root canal or used with implants to replace missing teeth. Typically, crowns are made entirely of gold, or porcelain fused to a gold substrate for strength as well as beauty. However, new advances make it possible for us to make a high-strength ceramic and porcelain crown that gives a beautiful, durable, natural result.
Treatment Process
- Prescribed crowns for damaged, decayed or broken teeth.
- Preparation of the tooth/teeth by eliminating the tooth structure and creating room for porcelain.
- Crown fabrication.
- Cement the new crown to the tooth structure.
